The Steelers have acquired Jacksonville kicker Josh Scobee.
Pittsburgh lost Shaun Suisham to a torn ACL in the Hall of Fame game, and replacement Garrett Hartley injured his hamstring during Saturday’s loss to the Bills.
The 33-year-old Scobee has connected on nearly 81 percent of his field goal attempts over his 11 seasons in the NFL. He’s made over 92 percent of his field goals three times, most recently in 2013.
The Steelers are reportedly sending a late round draft pick to the Jags.
Also, Scobee is reportedly going to restructure his $3 million contract to make the deal more “cap-friendly.”
