Steelers cornerback Artie Burns, their number one pick and highly touted cornerback, is behind schedule at training camp. After taking part in only four full practices and none over the past two weeks Burns continues to be bothered by a left quad strain. Monday Burns practiced on a limited basis for the first time since August 4. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin says much of what happens now is up to Burns as he gets back up to speed.
The Steelers practice today at 2:55pm and break camp Wednesday after a closed to the public workout at St. Vincent College in Latrobe. Thursday, the Steelers face the Philadelphia Eagles in preseason action at Heinz Field on WESB.
