A third person has been charged in connection to the 2017 overdose death of a Wilcox woman.
25-year-old Andre Frazier of Penn Hills, is charged with conspiracy to drug delivery resulting in death, criminal use of a communication facility and manufacture with intent to deliver.
Police say Frazier sold heroin to Allison Miller, which led to the overdose death of her sister Kaityln Buerk. Police say Miller and her cousin Thersea Sample arranged the sale. Investigators say the heroin turned out to be straight fetanyl.
Miller and Sample were charged in Buerk’s death in February.
Miller pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 4 to 10 years in prison. Sample’s trial is scheduled to start next month. Frazier is in the Elk County Prison without bail.
