Two Art Exhibits in Bradford; Lots of Music in Twin Tiers


Art lovers have not one, but two, new art exhibits to enjoy over the next few weeks.

The fifth annual HeART of Caring show started today in Bradford Regional Medical Center’s main lobby.

It runs through February 23.

The exhibit featuring award-winning artist Gerald Mead started Friday in the KOA Art Gallery at Pitt-Bradford.

It runs through March 15.

If music is your art of choice, you’re in luck, too.

Tuesday, the Glenn Miller Orchestra will be at St. Bonaventure’s Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts. Wednesday is the monthly concert at the Marilyn Horne Museum. The concert, “East Meets West: Music from Budapest to Brazil,” will feature the music of Mozart and Beethoven, among others. Seating is limited and reservations are required. Call or email the museum to make a reservation. Thursday it’s live music from Mick & Rick at the Afterwords Club at Beefeater’s. Friday, Friends of Good Music presents “Lillia” at the Quick Center. And, Friday , Saturday and Sunday, the Cattaraugus County Living Arts Association presents the musical “Pippin” at the Ray Evans Seneca Theater in Salamanca.
