Two people are in jail for seriously injuring a Bradford woman early Saturday morning.
Court papers say after being told about a 911 hang-up call on East Main Street at about 3 a.m., police found David Cabisca and Kiana McNamara, both of Bradford, walking away from 89 East Main at the same time a woman was lying in the street.
The police officer went to check the victim and saw blood on her face and a pool of blood on the street around her head. He called an ambulance, then asked Cabisca and McNamara what happened.
McNamara said she was defending herself in a fight against the woman. Court papers say Cabisca knocked the woman down, and encouraged McNamara to choke, kick and punch her, which she allegedly did, breaking her nose, and causing bleeding on the brain in two areas, as well as other injuries.
Cabisca is also accused of punching a man in the face and holding a knife to another woman’s throat, as well as fighting with two police officers who were trying to arrest him. He also allegedly threw a rock through a window at 89 East Main Street and broke the glass on the front door.
