Sheriff’s deputies say unsafe passing led to a crash in Cattaraugus County Saturday morning.
They say 23-year-old Elizabeth Brown of Randolph was on Route 242 in Napoli in a no-passing zone when she tried to pass the two vehicles in front of her. At the same time, the vehicle in front of her pulled out to pass the slower moving vehicle. Brown over-corrected to try to get back into her lane, but her vehicle went out of control, left the road and flipped over in a ditch.
Deputies didn’t say if Brown was hurt, but Randolph EMS was on the scene.
