‘Water Clarity’ Issues in Interstate Parkway Area

Some people in the Interstate Parkway area may be experiencing some water clarity issues.

Bradford City Water Authority executive director Steve Disney tells us they installed new mixing equipment at the Edgewood tank on Wednesday, which temporarily disturbed water in the Interstate Parkway area from Abbott Road to the end of the water system, including all side streets.

While water authority crews flush the distribution lines in an effort to eliminate any dirty water, residents and businesses in this area may experience temporary fluctuations of water pressure and clarity.

Residents and businesses in this area that experience dirty water are asked to run their cold water taps for at least 15 minute intervals periodically until water clarity is restored.

Disney say they “apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.”
