West Nile Virus in Kill Buck


West Nile Virus has been confirmed in Kill Buck, New York.

The state Department of health says one of the mosquito pools collected during the last week of July tested positive.

West Nile is transmitted to people through bites from infected mosquitoes. It usually develops within 3 to 14 days after exposure.
