A man who made an improvised explosive devices and planned to put it under another person’s vehicle has been sentenced to five years’ probation in Cattaraugus County.
65-year-old John Haluska, who now lives in Frewsburg, New York, put the IED at a home he owed in the Cattaraugus County Town of South Valley back in November of 2014.
At the time, state police said their investigation showed Haluska intended to put the IED under another person’s vehicle. They never revealed a motive.
