Two Olean men have been charged with selling crack cocaine after a drug raid over the weekend by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. Police charged 46 year-old David Brooks and 41 year-old David Vattes with two felony counts each of criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance. Vattes allegedly sold crack cocaine on April 19 and May 23 in the City of Olean and Brooks’ charges stem from two incidents that happened on May 11 and 17 in which he sold crack cocaine to another person also, in Olean. Both are in the Cattaraugus County Jail after failing to post bail.
