State Representative Martin Causer is predicting bipartisan opposition to a gun registration bill introduced in the State Legislature.
The bill, introduced by three Philadelphia area legislators, is known as the Firearm Registration Act, and would require owners to register guns annually, submit to finger printing, pass a background check, and pay a $10 fee.
Causer says that his offices are fielding a large number of calls opposed to the bill, including some that ask him “not to let us turn into New York.”
