UPDATE: Nuzzo has been arraigned and was released after posting a percentage of the $100,000 bail set by on-call District Judge Bill Todd. The District Attorney had asked that bail be set at a higher amount, saying she believes he could be a flight risk.
An arrest warrant has been issued for 42-year-old Marc Nuzzo of Kane, who had been the subject of an investigation into a fatal car crash on Route 219 near Mead Run on September 5.
Nuzzo was driving a car south when it went into the northbound lane and collided with a vehicle driven by 53-year-old Stanley “Guy” Austin of Bradford. Austin died a couple of weeks later in a Buffalo hospital.
McKean County District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer says Nuzzo is charged with three counts of aggravated assault by vehicle, involuntary manslaughter, six counts of recklessly endangering another person; and several summary violations.
