Two Cuba, NY, residents have been charged in connection to the death of an infant in the village.
Police arrested 21-year-old Whitney Barrett and 21-year-old Rashawn Gillispie following a lengthy investigation and charged them with criminally negligent homicide and endangering the welfare of a child. They’re in jail in lieu of $50,000 bail each.
Police didn’t release information about how the infant died.
