Steelers running back James Conner’s availability for the Sunday’s game against the Bengals is up in the air. Connor left the loss to the Browns last week with a shoulder injury, and has been bothered by that injury for several weeks. But, rookie running back Benny Snell might be back for the Bengals matchup. Snell, who has missed three games after arthroscopic knee surgery, is expected to practice this week.
Meanwhile, wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster is dealing with a knee injury in addition to the concussion he sustained in the Steelers loss to the Browns last Thursday. Wide receiver Diontae Johnson remains in concussion protocol. Also, cornerback Artie Burns, who is bothered by a knee injury, will be limited in practice this week.
