Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett’s indefinite suspension has been upheld by the NFL. And, Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey’s three game suspension has been reduced to two games following appeal.
Garrett will have to meet with the commissioner’s office before being reinstated. ESPN says that during Garrett’s appeal hearing in New York on Wednesday, Garrett alleged that Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph made a racial slur at him just prior to the brawl. A Steelers spokesman, and Rudolph’s lawyer released statements saying that the quarterback did not use a racial slur.
