A Chautauqua County woman has admitted to stealing more than a quarter of a million dollars from a healthcare agency while she worked as its business manager.
The US Attorney’s Office says while 42-year-old Alicia Raynor of Westfield, NY, was employed by Compassion at Home she disguised QuickBooks entries to make it appear payments were going to banks or the agency’s employees when they were actually going to her.
Between August of 2015 and June of 2016 she diverted about $239,000 from the company’s bank account.
Raynor faces up to 20 years in prison, and a fine of up to $250,000,
