An Eldred man accused of punching and choking a woman during a domestic incident last week has waived his preliminary hearing.
Court papers say state police were called to Moody Hollow Road at about 9:30 p.m. on May 3 and learned that 26-year-old Noah Hurrle kicked the victim in the chest, pushed her to the ground, punched her in the face causing bruising and choked her.
He’s charged with strangulation, simple assault and harassment and is free on $30,000 bail.
