A Mayville man was charged with driving while intoxicated in Bemus Point Friday.
38-year-old Charles Carter was charged by deputies of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office with DWI, felony aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding.
The charges stem from an investigation of a motor vehicle and motorcycle collision on Main Street. Both Carter and the motorcyclist were transported to UPMC Chautauqua for non-life-threatening injuries.
Carter was issued traffic tickets and released to appear in court at a later date.
