A jury has found a Bradford man guilty of the indecent assault of a pre-teen girl and of attacking the girl’s mother when she confronted him about it.
McKean County District Attorney Stephanie Vetteburg-Shaffer says Joshua Green was convicted of indecent assault, corruption of minors, indecent exposure and terrorist threats. He’s scheduled for sentencing November 19 in McKean County Court.
A police report at the time of his arrest said Sergeant Todd Erickson and Acting Chief Mike Ward met with the victim and her mother and learned that Green started having sexual contact with the girl when she was 12. When the girl’s mother confronted him about it he lunged at her, pushed her against a wall, choked her and threatened to kill her. She told police she had no doubt he was going to shoot her in the head.
The crimes happened between January 1, 2016, and December 31, 2017, in the City of Bradford.
