Last week, we told you Bradford Area schools are temporarily moving to remote learning after the Thanksgiving break.
Olean schools will be doing the same.
The school district says this is because of a spike in COVID-19 cases regionally, locally, and in the schools. They plan to return to in-person learning on January 19.
As in Bradford, officials are concerned about not having enough teachers and staff should an outbreak happen. More than 60 staff members in Bradford have had to quarantine.
