Charges were bound to McKean County Court in several cases yesterday.
33 Year old James Munday had his charges bound to McKean County court for possession with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana for personal use. His charges stem from a parole check on April 28th when Munday attempted to flee. Munday remains in McKean County Jail in lieu of $40,000 bail.
30 year old Michael Stone waived his preliminary hearing on charges of failure to comply with registration of sexual offender requirements. He had been employed at Mama Jane’s Restaurant since January and had not registered his place of employment. Stone is free on $25,000 bail.
19 year old Damien Packer had his charges bound to McKean County Court. Packers faces charges for Fleeing or Attempting to Elude an officer, 7 counts of reckless endangerment and 74 summary traffic violations following a high speed chase on April 20th after he failed to stop for an officer who was attempting to pull him over. Packer remains in McKean County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
19 year old Kelcie Moffat waived her hearing on charges of Criminal trespass, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a small amount of marijuana for personal use and drug paraphernalia. The criminal complaint alleges that Moffat, along with Westley C. Hardy, and Rikki L. Curcio were found inside of a vacant home on High St after receiving a report of a suspicious U-Haul box truck on February 13th. Marijuana and Methamphetamine as well as paraphernalia were found in common areas of the house and lock picking tools in Hardy’s backpack. Moffat is free on $50,000 unsecured bail.
25 year old Jeffrey S. Wood waived his hearing on charges related to the theft of a company vehicle from B&T Contractors. Bradford City Police were dispatched for the report of the stolen vehicle which was later found by Salamanca Police with Wood driving. Wood alleged that the owner had given him permission to drive which was not the case. Wood is in McKean County Jail in lieu of $25,000 on this case. Wood was also scheduled for hearing in three other cases, two for DUI and one for theft.
