***UPDATE***
Additional information regarding the sexual assault arrest of a Randolph man at the University of Pitt Bradford has become available.
According to court documents the alleged incident occurred in April of 2019, two preliminary hearings were scheduled in June and September of 2020 but do not appear of have occurred, potentially due to the pandemic. A new Preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 16th and Holdridge remains in the McKean County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail after his arrest Saturday by the University of Pitt Bradford Police.
24 year old Tristan Holdridge of Randolph, NY, was visiting the campus when he allegedly went back to a female student’s room. The victim told Holdridge she was not interested in sexual conduct, but Holdridge allegedly touched her inappropriately, removed her clothing, and forced her to have sexual intercourse with him.
Holdridge was arrested by University Police, and is in McKean County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is set for Thursday.
Please correct. He’s under accussation of sexual assault, not convicted. Should he come out innocent, you could damn this boy’s reputation for your lazy clickbait headlines. Disgraceful of newscources.
We do not say he has been convicted. We say he allegedly assaulted the woman, not that he did. Please read carefully.
Why are we so worried about the mans reputation when he is accused of committing a crime? Why are we not worried about the women’s reputation. I do prefer the phrase under accusation over allegedly as the word allegedly puts “she could be lying” in peoples heads instead of just he may not be guilty.
