The Greater Olean Area Sports, Recreation and Fitness Expo, originally set for next month, has been permanently cancelled.
Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce COO Meme Yanetsko announced in a press release Friday afternoon that the event was not being cancelled due to COVID-19, but because of a lack of interested vendors.
“[V]endors, which drive any show, did not see Olean NY as a big enough market for them to come to.”
Yanetsko said that the Chamber is considering merging the sports and recreation show with the more popular Home Show next year.
