The Carolina Panthers routed the Houston Texans 24-9 last night on WESB Sports.
Sam Darnold finished the night with 304 yards passing and ran for two touchdowns to lead the Panthers to the convincing win despite losing star running back Christian McCaffrey early in the second quarter. DJ Moore logged 8 receptions for 126 yards, as the Panthers start the season 3-0.
Along with McCaffrey, cornerback and No. 8 overall pick in this year’s draft Jaycee Horn also exited the game with injury. But while McCaffrey left with a hamstring injury, Horn apparently suffered multiple breaks in his right foot and was carted off the field.
