The smoke stack at the Bradford Wastewater Treatment Plant has been removed.
The project was taken on due to safety issues with the stack after water freezing between the bricks in the winter of 2019 caused debris to fall into the parking lot. Studies conducted showed no asbestos in the 66 year old smoke stack.
The construction crew from Wargo Enterprises is still on site to continue clean up.
