The City of Bradford Police Department responded to a man suffering a mental health crisis in Hanley Park Friday.
The male did however throw a firearm into the Tuna Creek before he was taken safely in for evaluation at BRMC.
Police called in the Mckean County Special Operations Group, Bradford City Fire Department, and PA Waterways Conservation Officers to conduct a full search of the creek bed to secure the firearm safely.
