The New York Yankees game 2 against the Los Angeles Angels set for last night at Yankee Stadium was postponed due to a forecast of inclement weather.
The game was scheduled to be made up as the first game of a split-admission doubleheader this afternoon at 1:05. The second game is scheduled to start at 7:05 tonight.
Two-way star Shohei Ohtani, who was scheduled to start tonight, will start Game 1 of the doubleheader for the Angels. And left-hander Reid Detmers, who was slated to start last night, will get the nod in Game 2.
The Yankees have announced that left-hander Nestor Cortes is scheduled to start Game 1, with right-hander Jameson Taillon set to go in the nightcap. The forecast in the Bronx for tonight, however, does include more rain.
