When you name a kid “Le’Genius” you’re really setting high expectations . . . and the decision looks even worse when the kid has spent more time in prison than in school.
A 22-year-old man in Florida named Le’Genius Williams was arrested on Monday, and he was hit with an assortment of felony gun and drug charges.
Le’Genius allegedly hit his girlfriend in the face with a handgun, and then fled the scene in a vehicle that had two loaded firearms . . . cocaine . . . and fentanyl.
The girlfriend should’ve known Le’Genius wasn’t a genius, because in 2013 . . . when he was 13 . . . he was arrested for shooting another teenager. He did eight years for attempted murder, plus an unrelated robbery charge.
Then last year . . . five months after he got out . . . he was arrested for cocaine possession, driving without a license, and illegally possessing a firearm. He was just freed in that case this past February.
These new charges will keep Le’Genius locked up for a while, because the arrest violates the terms of his release. (The Smoking Gun) (Here’s Le’Genius’s latest mugshot.
