Survivors and family members of those killed in May’s mass shooting at the Jefferson Avenue Tops in Buffalo will share nearly $6.5 million.
Early this morning, the steering committee for the Buffalo 5/14 Survivors Fund announced that the fund had raised a total of $6,452,355 in donations, which will be distributed to 169 applicants.
Distributions to survivors is expected to start on Monday.
