The Bonnies Basketball Teams rung in the New Year with bouts against U-Mass resulting in one victory and one loss.
The Lady Bonnies fell 74-51 to the Minutewomen.
Claire Cody led the Bonnies with 12 points, including a perfect 3-for-3 from beyond the arc. Tianna Johnson registered seven points, six rebounds and four assists in 29 minutes after missing the last two games due to injury.
The men however beat the minutemen 83-64 in Saturday’s Atlantic 10 opener.
Daryl Banks III delivered a game-high 31 points, including six three-pointers, while freshman Yann Farell was electric in the second half as he scored all of his career-best 22 points after intermission.
The Men are set to host George Mason Wednesday night. Tip time at the Reilly Center is slated for 7 p.m.
