A retired Bradford teacher was found guilty in absentia of disorderly conduct and harassment on Thursday.
Judge Dominic Cercone found 72-year-old Nancy Fire guilty in four cases after Fire failed to show up in Court. Neighbors complained about loud noise at unreasonable hours and offensive yard signs at properties she owns on Abbott Road and Thompson Avenue.
The signs on the Abbott Road property, including one that was just a four-letter epithet in large letters, were the subject of a complaint and petition to Bradford City Council last August.
Fire was also accused of videotaping neighbors through their windows and other harassing behavior.
Fire was ordered to pay $768.60 in fines and costs.

It’s about time someone took some legal action. While I understand that age and mental state may play a role in this type of behavior and the flip – side of freedom of speech, this nonsense with Mrs. Fire has gone on much too long. It’s a sad situation.
Well it is her yard is it not????
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Way too funny That Cercone goes after people for the most Petty stuff I have ever seen. What a bum
You think he goes after people specifically and targets them? I’m the farthest thing from someone who supports the judicial system and all that but you sir, sound like an imbecile. Fairly certain it starts with someone filing charges. Proceeds to court and from there he makes a judgment……
So we just gonna ignore the fact she has freedom of speech ???!! Seems like she has a lawsuit she could win being they went against her rights of freedom of speech … regardless if people find her signs offensive she still has the right to freedom of speech
