An Eldred woman was seriously injured in a collision.
According to the State Police, on the afternoon of April 5, 85-year-old Mary Hamilton ran a stop sign at the intersection of Prentisvale Road and Eldred Road, colliding with another vehicle proceeding through the intersection.
The other driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Hamilton was flown to UPMC Hamot for suspected injuries. Her current condition is not known.
The road was closed for about two hours for cleanup.
