The Texas Rangers rallied over the Toronto Blue Jays 11-7 yesterday in Texas.
Corey Seager and Ezequiel Duran each had 4 hits as the Rangers erased a 6-0 deficit on its way to the win in the rubber game of the weekend set.
Whit Merrifield and Bo Bichette each had 2 RBI for Toronto in its sixth loss in 9 games. George Springer had 2 hits and scored 2 runs. Blue Jays right-hander Chris Bassitt was charged with 5 runs, 3 earned, and 7 hits in 3 2/3 innings.
It was the Jays’ largest blown lead since July 2019, when they led Tampa Bay 8-1 and lost 10-9.
The Blue Jays are now 39-34 on the season and will next travel to Miami for a 3-game series against the Marlins.
