A Grand Jury has indicted Michael Burham on multiple charges in connection with the death of his ex-girlfriend and mother of three Kala Hodgkin, of Jamestown, New York.
Burham, who is suspected of gunning down Hodgkin and torching another woman’s car back in May 2023, faces charges of 1st and 2nd degree murder as well as arson, and is being held without bail.
Burham was sentenced in January for escaping from the Warren County Prison and kidnapping an elderly couple. Judge Gregory J Hammon gave him the maximum sentence of 25 years 2 months to 50 years 4 months in state prison.
