The second of the three defendants charged in the 2020 kidnapping, beating and murder of 19-year-old Joshua Ramos in Potter County has pleaded guilty to charges in the case.
According to District Attorney Andy Watson, 38-year-old Felicia Cary, of Galeton, entered a plea in September to conspiring to commit first-degree murder and kidnapping to inflict injury or terror. She will be sentenced at 1 p.m. Nov. 18 in Coudersport.
Watson had been seeking the death penalty against Cary, as well as against 25-year-old Krysten Crosby of Tioga, and 33-year-old Kyle Moore, of Galeton. That was not pursued against Cary or Crosby, both of whom have pleaded guilty.
Moore’s case remains open, but Crosby was sentenced to 31 to 62 years in prison for her part in Ramos’ kidnapping, assault and death.
