The Olean Police Department reported Wednesday that several arrests had been made recently in an attempt to curb drug-related activity on South Third Street.
45-year-old Elliott Smalls and 40-year-old Micah D. Hicks were each charged Wednesday morning with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance/narcotic drug, a class B felony.
The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant issued out of Cattaraugus County Court, during which Smalls was allegedly found to possess more than 21 grams of cocaine, and Hicks was allegedly found to possess an unspecified quantity of cocaine and cash.
Smalls and Hicks were both held pending arraignment.
