All charges were bound to 33-year-old Tyler Prescott for the rape and murder of a 2-year-old in a preliminary hearing on Tuesday.
Prescott is charged with Criminal Homicide, Rape Of A Child, Rape Of A Child Resulting Serious Bodily Injury, Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse Of A Child, Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse Of Child Resulting Serious Bodily Injury, Aggravated Indecent Assault Of A Child, Indecent Assault after the death of Oakley Hedlund.
The forensic pathologist who performed the autopsy testified at this hearing, saying the toddler’s entire body received injuries.
Prescott remains incarcerated without bail.
Due to the volatility of this case and the public outcry, the trial was held at the courthouse for security concerns with several armed members of the McKean County Sheriff’s Department alongside with courthouse security.
