A Salamanca man was charged with driving under the influence of drugs in Ashford on Wednesday morning.
New York State Police charged 35-year-old Zachary J. Thomas with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs and three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
The charges stem from the investigation of a one-vehicle accident on Route 240 with one injury was reported.
Thomas was released with an appearance ticket.
