An Olean man was arrested after several felonies after a domestic incident involving weapons in Belmont early Thursday morning.
New York State Police charged 36-year-old Robert J. Deahn with felony criminal possession of a weapon, three felony counts of reckless endangerment, menacing and two counts of acting in a manner injurious to a child.
The charges stem from Deahn allegedly arrived unexpectedly at a Genesee Street incident address brandishing a knife to the victim then leaving the residence.
Deahn allegedly returned and fired one round from a firearm at the residence from the front yard with two children inside.
Troopers found Deahn on W. Water Street in Friendship and arrested him on a traffic stop.
Troopers allegedly found a 12-gauge shotgun with a spent casing in the chamber, as well as the knife used to menace the victims earlier.
Deahn was transported to the Allegany County Jail pending centralized arraignment.
