A school van reportedly rolled over of a district mechanic at Bradford Area High School just after the start of the school day Thursday.
Bradford City Police and Fire departments were dispatched at 8:51 a.m., for a Bradford Area School District transport van — disabled by mechanical issues — breaking loose and rolling over a mechanic.
An individual had jumped into the van, attempting to stop it before it could strike the worker, and that another driver then positioned their full-size bus in front of the van to stop it.
EMS tried to have the woman flown for treatment, but bad weather conditions had grounded medical evacuations, so she was transported to BRMC where she supposedly has no life-threatening injuries and is in stable condition.
