The former head of Bradford’s United Way was charged with sexual assault of a student in her computer class at Tidioute Charter School in Warren County.
Pennsylvania State Police charged 41-year-old Megan Renee Minich with felony statutory sexual assault, felony intercourse with a student and two felony counts of corruption of minors.
The charges stem from Minich allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old boy and paying him over $20,000 to keep him quiet, also threatening suicide if he told police.
Minich was released on $50,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Jan. 14.
Minich was the executive director of the United Way of the Bradford Area from June 2011 to December 2012.
