The court-appointed attorney for Tyler Prescott, the man accused of raping and killing his 2-year-old son, has asked to withdraw from the case on Monday.
Attorney Chris Pentz stated the reason for his request was accusations made by Prescott that Pentz was working with the McKean County District Attorney’s Office on “illegal and corrupt {expletive}” and allegedly refusing to work with him.
Prescott is scheduled for a “last day to plea” hearing at 11 a.m. Jan. 16 at the McKean County courthouse.
