Two different Hinsdale men were arrested on separate warrants at the Olean Police station late Monday afternoon.
Deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old James A. Walton on an active bench warrant issued by the Hinsdale Town Court.
They also arrested 35-year-old Steven J. Schneider after a traffic stop near the Olean Police Headquarters with assistance from the Olean Police.
Schneider had an active violation of probation warrant issued out of Cattaraugus County Probation.
Walton was eventually released under supervision and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
Schneider was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail pending further proceedings.
