A Bradford man was arrested as a fugitive after a traffic stop on N 6th St in Olean Tuesday evening.
Deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Chaz E. Zawatski on an active warrant out of the Bradford Police Department.
Zawatski allegedly fled the traffic stop on foot in attempt to evade patrol but was apprehended after a brief pursuit.
Zawatski was transported for arraignment to Olean City Court as a fugitive from justice, and was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail awaiting his extradition to Pennsylvania.
