A Bradford man was arrested on several warrants and drug felonies.
City of Bradford Police charged 29-year-old Kenneth Richard Bell with felony possession of narcotics with intent to deliver, felony flight to avoid apprehension, three counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.
On Nov 10, officers allegedly encountered Bell as a passenger in a vehicle operated by Raymond Kelley, who was known to be DUI-suspended, at the Country Fair gas station on West Washington Street.
Bell had an active warrant issued by Pennsylvania State Police and a search allegedly revealed a glass smoking pipe with burnt residue, eight grams of crack cocaine, along with packaging materials, a digital scale, Suboxone strips, THC vape cartridges, and other paraphernalia inside Bell’s backpack.
Bell was remanded to jail on the arrest warrant, made bail and was released.
On Jan 25, officers observed Bell outside of 9 Kiwanis Court and found that he had an active warrant issued by the City of Bradford Police Department in relation to the prior offense.
When ordered to stop, Bell fled on foot.
Police noted Bell had allegedly fled officers on Jan 16, by jumping from a window at 6 Kiwanis Court while officers attempted to arrest him on the same warrant.
Bell was remanded to the McKean County Jail on $50,000 bail for fleeing and an additional $50,000 bail for the drug charges.
