A Bradford woman was arrested on multiple warrants and drug charges after a traffic stop on South Ave early Friday morning.
City of Bradford Police charged 35-year-old Amelia Joy Garges with possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.
The charges stem from police allegedly observing a vehicle operating with an equipment violation.
During the stop, officers allegedly found Garges, the rear seat passenger and registered owner of the vehicle, to have a suspended license and active out-of-state narcotics warrants.
Garges allegedly discarding a clear bag containing a mix of cocaine and fentanyl into a nearby snowbank when she exited the vehicle.
Additional drug paraphernalia was also found on Garges’ person.
She was remanded to McKean County Jail at $5,000 bail.
