The criminal charges filed against the principal of Olean High School, tied to an alleged incident involving a student, were dismissed with prejudice last week.
Jeffrey Andreano was charged by the Olean Police on Dec. 12 with endangering the welfare of a child and harassment after an alleged physical altercation with a student on Dec. 2.
After viewing a security video provided by the Olean City School, District Judge George Panebianco dismissed both charges Tuesday stating the claims were unsupported by evidence.
Since the charges were dismissed with prejudice, they can’t be refiled.
