A Bradford man and an Olean man were arrested after an alleged drug deal at Sassy’s Truck Stop late last Monday night.
Deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office charged 66-year-old Dennis M. Moore of Bradford with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and felony Sale of a Controlled after a traffic stop on Route 219 in Carrollton.
37-year-old James R. Dixon of Olean was charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Substance and Disobeying a Traffic Control following a traffic stop on W. State St. in the City of Olean.
Dixon was also processed on the charge of felony sale of a controlled substance out of the Town of Carrolton.
Moore was allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine and Dixon was found to be in possession of Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone Pills, a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and $302.
Both Moore and Dixon were transported to the City of Olean Court for an arraignment.
Moore was released on his own recognizance and is due back in the Town of Carrolton Court while Dixon was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail without bail pending further proceedings in both the City of Olean Court and the Town of Carrolton Court.
