Shane and Sean Hvizdzak have had their sentencing pushed into April after a federal judge granted continuances in both of their cryptocurrency fraud cases.
Federal District Judge W. Scott Hardy approved the government’s request to delay sentencing for Sean to 10 a.m. April 8 in U.S. District Court in Pittsburgh and also granted a separate motion to continue sentencing for Shane to 10 a.m. April 9, also before Hardy in the Pittsburgh courtroom.
The brothers were charged in connection with a $31 million cryptocurrency investment scheme with both of them pleading guilty to wire fraud charges in 2025.
