Despite a 20-point, 13-rebound double-double from Frank Mitchell, the St. Bonaventure men’s basketball team fell to Duquesne, 78-73 yesterday, live on our sister station, 100.1 the Hero.
Mitchell shot 9-for-15 while tallying four assists, one block and one steal. Dasonte Bowen returned to the lineup with 18 points while shooting 8-for-8 from the free throw line. Cayden Charles registered 16 points on 6-for-11 shooting and hauled in seven rebounds, while Buddy Simmons II added 11 points and five rebounds.
Up next for the Bonnies, they host St Joseph’s Wednesday evening, live on the new home of St Bonaventure basketball, 100.1 the Hero.
